Ready to Rumble

MARRS VII & IXspec racers racing at summit point

Sports Car Racers and fans from all over the Mid-Atlantic region will gather at wild  and wonderful West Virginia for the biggest SCCA MARRS race of the year. Summit Point Raceway will host over 250 teams the Labor Day weekend of August 29- 31, 2014. The road course is a ten turn, two mile road course that includes a 2900 foot straightaway and 400 feet of elevation change. Summit Point Circuit provides challenging high speed turns , long straights, and a challenging and technical carousel section.

I’ll be racing the #6 MJ Red/Black SRF car in race group 4 and invite all to stop by the Hagerman RacEngineering trailer.

The Summit Point Circuit has a concession stand serving breakfast foods, hot and cold sandwiches, Summit Point’s world famous 100 mph chili, snacks, ice cream, and beverages.  OG Racing is located on our property just outside ”ChezSummit” and offers all you racing, high performance, and apparel needs.  The holiday schedule includes qualifying sessions and heat races on both Saturday and Sunday(8 races by groups)  and 40 min MARRS races on Monday!
